About ADI
Designed with a pilot's perspective.
Comfort in an aircraft is not a material. It is the profile of the foam, the rake of the backrest, and where the light falls at the third hour.
A cabin has no spare millimetres, no straight walls and a weight limit. It does not forgive a seat angle you settled on, because the person in it cannot get up and walk to another room.
That standard came off one aircraft: a Piper PA‑46 taken out to the bare airframe and rebuilt in quilted hide.
Piper PA‑46 Malibu, stripped to the airframe. Completed work.
The one aircraft
Everything came out.
Seats, soft goods, headliner, sidewalls and carpet, down to the green primer on the structure. Six seats went back in diamond-quilted hide over new foam profiles, with a suede headliner, veneer tables, and the aircraft name embroidered into the headrests.
