Residential interior

Dining room: glass-topped table with blue velvet chairs and one tan leather head chair on a deep-pile rug, smoked-glass cluster pendant above, floor-length curtains and a palm at the window.

An apartment in marble, lacquer and velvet.

The floor runs continuous through the hall. The kitchen closes to a single plane. Against that, shag, boucle and colour, so the rooms can be used.

Bedroom: teal velvet upholstered bed with white linen, matching bedside cabinets with globe lamps, floor-length curtains, oak floor and a pale rug.
Hallway: white walls and flush doors with a run of recessed downlights along the ceiling, a framed abstract canvas on the left wall, oak plank floor running to the far end.
The full kitchen run: gloss white wall and base units with an oak worktop and under-cabinet lighting, sink and hob in line, appliances and glass storage jars on the counter, polished black marble floor.
Kitchen and dining: handleless gloss white units with an oak worktop and lit splashback, integrated oven column, polished black marble floor, round dining table with quilted chairs under chrome sphere pendants.
Living room: L-shaped grey sofa with mustard and navy cushions, arc floor lamp over a low round table, black spoke pendant, swivel armchair by the curtained window, oak floor and deep-pile rug.
Living room detail: stacked round nesting coffee tables in cream and olive on a shaggy rug, a shell and a blue ceramic bowl of pink blooms on top, grey sofa and high-backed swivel chair behind.
Detail: a solid walnut burl slab table on castors dressed with wine and champagne bottles, crystal glasses and pillar candles, bar shelving out of focus behind.
